PATENTPatent
I FEEL FORTUNATE THAT I HAVE CREATED SEVERAL INVENTIONS OVER THE YEARS!
Many of you have ideas but don’t know where to start or what to do. A lot of information can be obtained online, but I will give a head start with some of the information.
There are two types:
1. Utility or Design
2. Provisional
The Provisional is lower cost and establishes a filing date if cost is a problem. The Utility involves a lot more money to start.
I have found over the years it is best to do the following when creating an idea:
1. Create a drawing of your idea, write the date and sign it. Get two if your closest friends to witness the idea by signing their name and dating the drawing too.
2. Research your idea by looking to see if someone else has come up with your invention already. This can be done on the internet or by walking through department stores or manufacturing area’s to evaluate anything that comes close to your idea.
3. Once you are sure that your idea has not been invented already, create a working model or prototype of your idea.
For approximately $40.00 you can buy an inventors kit @ Amazon.com. I have suggested one below, but you can do research on the internet and see if there is something else that better suits your situation. I am not affiliated with this organization nor do I receive anything for recommending it.

How do you make Money?
There are a couple of choices:
1. You can try to manufacturer and/or distribute your invention.
.................. This is very difficult without a lot of capital to start.
2. You can license the invention to a manufacturer and they can give your royalities for the use of your invention.
IT IS AN EXCITING ADVENTURE GOING THROUGH THE PATENT PROCESS!
I WISH YOU WELL IN YOUR DESIGNS AND CREATIONS.
